Seventh Generation Living Wall l Burlington, Vermont
Recipient of Better Buildings by Design Honorable Mention, 2008.
In the Seventh Generation headquarters lobby, visitors are welcomed by a two-story recycled content steel wire trellis panel that supports a lush tapestry of vines with a full palette of green hues. Not only do these vines bring the outdoors inside, they also have health benefits by providing microbes that transform typical indoor air contaminants into harmless water and carbon dioxide. Symbolically, this living sculpture also reminds visitors of Seventh Generation’s commitment to ‘become the world’s most trusted brand of authentic, safe and environmentally-responsible products for a healthy home.’
