Milton Main Street Enhancements   l   Milton, Vermont

This beautiful historic gateway to a formerly industrial town lost its intimacy and safety as traffic increased over the decades. Town officials and residents requested Main Street to be enhanced with shade trees, bike lanes and street and pedestrian lighting to slow traffic, provide safety for pedestrians and bikers, create a noise buffer along the sidewalk, and strengthen its cohesiveness.  The team of landscape architect and civil engineer developed a master plan and construction details, and prepared presentations to the Town.
