This new outdoor courtyard and entry plaza was built in connection with a new Net Zero Field House and the existing Student Union building in the heart of the campus. The courtyard serves as a central congregating space for students featuring stone seat walls, colorful permeable paver surfaces, planters of native shrubs and Vermont indigenous shade trees. The design is informed by existing site conditions and patterns of circulation to connect functional spaces throughout the campus.
