Montpelier Middle School Campus   l   Montpelier, Vermont

A school ground prominently located on Main Street in downtown Montpelier was given a beautiful, functional and accessible renovation. A holistic approach to the entire campus created a range of spaces featuring a convenient visitors parking area, attractive main entry plaza with granite benches and shade trees, student gardens, and a dynamic playground with basketball, soccer, four square, gazebo and benches for gathering, and a compass amphitheater / outdoor classroom.  An accessible path from the cafeteria skirts the edge of the playground and provides seating on the new retaining wall.
